Israel sent a humanitarian delegation to help the people of Haiti. The delegation established a field hospital that includes medical steff, engineering, medical, logistics and rescue experts from the IDF Home Front Command. Israel was the first country to establish a field hospital. Round 220 soldiers and officers are in the delegation, including 120 medical personnel that operate an emergency field hospital. An IDF plane loaded with equipment landed shortly after the staff. CBS called the Israeli hospital the Rolls Royce of Emergency Medicine.
